For financial advisors & CFP® professionals

Your prospect records a family story.
You get the warm call.

VerbaPost is a prospecting campaign that replaces the seminar dinner. You upload a list. We mail each person an invitation to record a family story, phone the ones who say yes, and mail their story on linen paper to someone they love, with your firm's name on it. Then you follow up with a warm call.

Founding rate $20 per mailed invitation · first campaign $500 for 25

How it works

01 Your list You upload names and addresses: past seminar guests, referrals, people you want to meet.
02 Our invitation We mail each person a printed letter, sent in your firm's name, offering a free keepsake for their family.
03 Their story They scan the code or text one word, agree to the call, and talk for up to 15 minutes.
04 Your notice You get an excerpt, and you see who responded and who wants a call.
05 Your call “I heard the story you recorded.” Your name is already on the letter they received. Call the ones who asked first.

Have your compliance team review this workflow before your first campaign.

… right in front of us was this purple Gremlin, with an old metal dealer plate from Eggies. We both said the person who bought it must have taken their time and made a thoughtful decision. After that, grandma felt better about hers. Any decision she made would be better than that. We both laughed.

Twenty-five invitations run $500. No venue, no catering. After the first 25, add as few as one at a time.

Client legacy archive: a free keepsake is non-cash compensation. If a client's recording mentions working with you, mailing it may count as a compensated testimonial under SEC Rule 206(4)-1, which carries its own disclosure and written-agreement requirements.

For the clients you already have

Too often, an advisor meets a client's children for the first time after the parent is gone. A letter in their parent's voice, mailed with your name on it, can put you in front of the next generation years sooner. How to meet your clients' heirs →

I started VerbaPost to record my mother's story. When I served in the Army in Korea, getting a letter at mail call was the highlight of the day. I still love letters, and getting family stories delivered by USPS letter is a great way to get them and a wonderful gift for your clients or future clients. Tarak Robbana, founder

Questions

Do you find the prospects?

No. You bring the list: past seminar guests, referrals, people you already want to meet. We mail the invitations, handle the call and the letter, and tell you who responded. The follow-up call is yours.

Is the calling compliant with telemarketing rules?

These are the procedures we follow. They are not a guarantee of your firm's compliance — obligations under the TCPA, the Telemarketing Sales Rule, state do-not-call statutes, the SEC Marketing Rule, and your firm's own policies remain with your firm. Have your compliance officer review this workflow, and your list sources, before your first campaign.

  • Consent first. We collect express written consent before any call.
  • Do Not Call check. We check each number against the national Do Not Call registry immediately before dialing. How you built your list is yours to defend.
  • Your disclosure. Your firm's required disclosure line goes on every piece. You supply it; we place it.
  • 60-day audio. Families can download the recording for 60 days, then we delete it. When we have the family's email, we send a reminder with a download link on day 45 and again on day 55. On letters for your own clients, you're copied. The printed letter stays. Your firm's retention obligations are separate: we supply a PDF of every mailed letter and a copy of your landing page for your own archive. Advertisements must be retained five years under SEC Rule 204-2.

This describes how the platform works, not how your firm complies.

Do I have to interview anyone?

No. We handle the interview, transcript and mailing. The letter carries your firm's name, which makes it your firm's communication: your disclosure goes on it, and your firm retains it.

Can I look around before I pay?

Yes. Creating an advisor account is free, and you only pay when you launch a campaign. You can also hear a finished story or email support@verbapost.com.

How long does the founding rate last?

It's for the advisors who join during our launch. We'll announce the change before prices go up.
